Rocky View Speech Therapy Services

Our services are provided in a warm, friendly environment, and our approach is family-centered, play-based, and neuro-diversity affirming. We work closely with families to understand their unique needs and create personalized treatment plans that work for them. Contact us today to learn more about how we can help your child improve their communication skills.

  • We provide assessments to uncover your child's unique communication abilities using a combination of informal and formal measures to assess speech, language, and communication skills. This allows us to get a complete picture of a child's abilities and to tailor therapy to their specific needs. Typically, assessments take one session which includes a case history to gather information about the child's development and any relevant medical or family history.

  • We provide detailed report writing services to document the results of our assessments, which can be helpful for families and professionals in understanding a child's communication strengths and challenges.

  • We understand the importance of funding for speech therapy and are here to help families navigate the process of funding applications including Program Unit Funding (PUF) and Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD) applications. We work with families to gather the necessary documentation and provide support throughout the application process.

  • We offer personalized speech therapy sessions to help your child reach their full potential. These sessions are play-based and structured to improve speech, language, and voice skills, as well as to promote social communication. We will work closely with each client and family to set goals and track progress over time.

  • We understand that sometimes it can be difficult to make it to an in-person therapy session. Online speech therapy is a great option for those in Alberta outside of our service area. Our teletherapy sessions are just as interactive and personalized as in-person sessions, and they can be used to address a wide range of communication disorders.

  • We also offer consultation services for families, educators, and other professionals who are looking for guidance on how to support a child with communication difficulties. Our team of experienced speech-language pathologists will provide practical strategies, resources, and support to help you understand your child's communication needs and how to best support them.
