AREAS OF PRACTICE

SERVICES

We provide assessments to uncover your child's unique communication abilities using a combination of informal and formal measures to assess speech, language, and communication skills. This allows us to get a complete picture of a child's abilities and to tailor therapy to their specific needs. Typically, assessments take one session which includes a case history to gather information about the child's development and any relevant medical or family history.

Assessment

We provide detailed report writing services to document the results of our assessments, which can be helpful for families and professionals in understanding a child's communication strengths and challenges.

Report Writing

We understand the importance of funding for speech therapy and are here to help families navigate the process of funding applications including Program Unit Funding (PUF) and Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD) applications. We work with families to gather the necessary documentation and provide support throughout the application process.

Funding Applications

We offer personalized speech therapy sessions to help your child reach their full potential. These sessions are play-based and structured to improve speech, language, and voice skills, as well as to promote social communication. We will work closely with each client and family to set goals and track progress over time.

Individual Therapy

We understand that sometimes it can be difficult to make it to an in-person therapy session. Online speech therapy is a great option for those in Alberta outside of our service area. Our teletherapy sessions are just as interactive and personalized as in-person sessions, and they can be used to address a wide range of communication disorders.
